One of the great things to do in Iceland is to visit Snæfellsnes where you will find Snæfellsjökull, a glacier made famous by Jules Verne is his book, Journey to the Center of the Earth. Visit to this pearl of nature will leave you dazzled as this world famous gateway to the center of the earth is both magical and mejestic. The peninsula has more to offer than just the glacier. It has stunning coastal beaches and cliffs and beautiful, small fishing villages where you can stop for lunch and some shopping.
